18th c. French chandelier 'lustre à tige'

A wonderful gilt bronze French chandelier 'Lustre à tige'.  With 12 arms: 6 candle arms and 6 arms with poignards. The bobeches in the typical French flower form. The candle arms has numbers who are corresponding with the central plate- ‚Entablement’. This is characteristic for the 18th century. The central stem is covered with crystal glass forms ‚Schaftenfilade’ in the middle with two stars with 6 arm. The whole chandelier is festooned with large crystal pendeloques, jasminds and flower rosettes. Below the chandelier hangs a large cut bol.
