A fabulous & unique gilt bronze cage French chandelier.
With 6 candle arms, 3 between arms and 3 cage arms.
On the cage arms and between arms there are poignards.The cage arms are decorated with large flower rosettes.
In the centre there is a vase with small arms and an extra poignard.
All scrolled arms has numbers who are corresponding with the central plate- ‚Entablement’ . This is characteristic for the 18th century.
The chandelier is reachly festooned with stars, jasminds, facetted drops and pendants 'Cristal de Bohême’- some of the crystals has solarized. Solarised glass came by 'Cristal de Bohême’ till 1750 very often, after that has becoming less. Till 1770 the 'Cristal de Bohême' has a yelow or amethyst coloured discoloration.
Above the cage there are decorative vases to cover the stam.
The crown ‚Coroune’ with 12 arms, decorated with stars, flower and crystals 'Crystal de Bohême’.
Below the chandelier is a large facetted bol.
